Homer L. Dalton, 59, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Froedtert So. St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus.
He was born on March 10, 1962, to the late Ivan and Norma (Troxel) Dalton in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Tremper High School.
Homer worked for the city of Kenosha as a leaf/garbage collector for several years.
Homer enjoyed playing bingo and going to the meat raffle at Bindelli’s City Zoo every Friday. He was a jokester with everyone and was a kind-hearted man who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone.
Homer is survived by his siblings Susan Daniels, Gregory (Donna) Dalton, Tricia (Mike)
Applegate and Paul Dalton, his six half-sisters, his two half-brothers, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, his brothers Randy and Mark in infancy, and two half-brothers.
A Celebration of Life for Homer will be held on Friday, October 8th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bindelli’s City Zoo (4601 – 7th Ave.) with sharing of memories starting at 6:00 p.m.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at St. Catherine’s for their loving and compassionate care given to Homer.
