Jack H. Hill, 71, of Kenosha, WI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at AccentCare Inpatient Hospice Center at Lutheran Home in Wauwatosa, WI, surrounded by loved ones.
He was born in Kenosha, WI, on July 17, 1953, the son of the late Jack and Louise (Castona) Hill. He was educated in local schools and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from UW-Parkside.
Jack served in the US Army during Vietnam as a Medical Specialist and First Aid Attendant. There he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, Expert Rifle and Grenade rank, and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm. He continued with the Marines working his way up to Lieutenant Colonel.
In his spare time, he enjoyed keeping busy, whether it be hunting, fishing, woodworking, or traveling, he was always on the move. He practiced martial arts for many years, eventually earning a Fifth Degree Black Belt. More than anything, Jack also spent his time teaching others the art of karate he enjoyed riding his Harley around town.
He is survived by his wife, Jes Louise Hill; his four children, John (Rachael) Hill of Kenosha, WI, Joseph Hill of Big Bend, WI, Stephanie (Harvey) Slusser of West Allis, WI, and Genevieve (Gustavo Obregon) Hill of Kenosha, WI; stepson, Demitri Graziano; siblings, Jeanine (Butch) Roeske, Robert Leese, Patrick Leese, Rick Leese, Ralph Leese and twin brother, Jerry (Karen) Hill; five grandchildren, Declan Hill, Ethan Hill, Olivia Slusser, Wyatt Slusser, and Jax Graziano. He is further survived by other loving family and friends.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Alex Legler and Louise Legler; his father, Jack Hill and his brother, Duane Hill.

A visitation for Jack will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
Interment with Full Military Honors will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to a Veteran’s Organization of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
