Jane Marie Cassity, 91, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Aurora Medical Center.
She was born on March 12, 1933 to the late Lawrence and Viola Tappa in Antigo, WI. She was educated in the schools of Antigo.
On April 27, 1974 she married Gerald L. Cassity at the First Congregational Church. He preceded her in death on August 20, 2014.
Jane was strong with her faith and loved the Lord. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to casinos, shopping and taking long drives. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and loved her fur babies.
Jane is survived by her daughters Deborah (Steve) Palmen, Dora Sinkler and Donna Rickey, her grandchildren Taja (Dan) Chandler, Lawona Cisneroz, George Schlitz Jr., Kimberly (Arthur) Hudson, Denise (John) Boyer, Steven (Tiffany) Rickey, Shawn Rickey and Shannon Rickey and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Gloria Schlitz, a son-in-law George Schlitz, two sons Robert and Bruce Sinkler, son-in-law Denny Ray Laughlin Sr. and a grandson Denny Ray Laughlin Jr.
A Celebration of Life for Jane will be held on Saturday, November 9th at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to thank Jane’s caregivers Leroy Faulkner, Jaaleon McBride, Anjele’na Creamer, Breeanna Scuffham and Sabastian Wolke for their loving and compassionate care give to Jane.
