Jean Mary Limpert, 75, of Powder Springs, GA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 12, 2020.
Jean was born on September 28, 1944 in Kenosha, WI to the late Joseph and Esther (Scherrer) Werwie. She was educated in local schools and graduated from UW Whitewater with a degree in education.
On September 14, 1968 she married Charles G. Limpert at St. George Catholic Church in Kenosha.
Jean was a caring and loving educator for 30 years, having taught at St. Peter’s Catholic School in Kenosha before moving to GA and teaching there until her retirement. She loved to travel, spend time with family and her rescue dog, Abby. She was an avid tennis player, coach and spectator. Jean enjoyed coaching high school tennis for many years. She was a member of St. Clare’s Catholic Church of Acworth, GA.
Jean was a cancer survivor. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother and aunt who will be missed by many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Thomas Ryan Limpert.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Charles G. Limpert of Powder Springs, GA; daughter, Kristin (Greg) Moehlich of Atlanta, GA; sons, Richard Limpert and Ryan Limpert of Powder Springs, GA; brothers, Dr. James (Charlene Grimes) Werwie, Joseph (Nancy) Werwie and Jerry (Mary) Werwie; sisters, Joanne (Larry) Andrews, Janet (David) Schani, Carol (Jack) Oster; grandchildren, Andrew and Whitney Moehlich and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Memorial services for Jean will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53144.
Inurnment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery.
A gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 am. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Mr. Charles Limpert for disbursement to charitable organizations in Jean’s memory.
