Jeanette Ruth Ewing born in Kenosha on August 25th, 1930 to the late Carl and Pauline (Usinger) Wamboldt. She was educated at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran School, graduated from Friedens, and attending Mary D. Bradford High School. On June 30th, 1956 she married James F. Ewing at Friedens Church where she was also a member of the congregation. Jeanette worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in Racine, Simmons Company, Unified School District, and the Claridge Nursing Home. Her hobbies included traveling with her husband, knitting, crocheting, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren and friends.
Jeanette is survived by, her three sons, James (Pamela) Ewing, John (Marcia) Ewing both of Kenosha and Robert (Elizabeth) Ewing of Hempstead, TX. Four grandchildren, Angelique Ewing and Marah Ewing both of Kenosha, Jake Ewing of Hempstead, TX and Ian Vollers of Houston, TX. Two great-grandchildren, Noel Ewing of Kenosha and Owen Vollers of Houston, TX. She is also survived by three brothers, Jerome (Darlene) Wamboldt, Dennis (Ruth) Wamboldt and Gary (Karen) Wamboldt of Kenosha as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by, her husband on March 20th, 2006, a brother, Carl Jr. on August 24th, 2003, a sister-in-law, Julie wife of Carl Jr. on May 14th, 2003, her sister, Lori Olivotti on November 8th, 2021.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
