Jeffery A. Schaefer, 64 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Jeff was born on the farm on July 29, 1960, in Kenosha, WI as the son of Richard and Brenda (Jerome) Schaefer, where he grew crops such as soybeans and corn, and raised beef cattle. On December 19, 1981, he married the love of his life, Yolanda Gomez. Jeff was proudly employed as a millwright by Ocean Spray for over 30 years in Kenosha, WI.
His best interests included deep sea fishing, deer hunting, snowmobiling, and watching the Packers play. During the holidays, he loved to play cards, and could beat anyone in Shoot the Moon. Every year, he looked forward to spending winter in Florida with friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Yolanda; children, Corey Alan Schaefer and Amanda Lynn (Sergio “favorite son in law”) Arizmendi, both of Kenosha, WI; a brother, Adam (Jane) Schaefer; four grandchildren, Seliz, Anjy, Alvin, and Arthur; and many beloved relatives.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, and his son, Anthony Richard Schaefer.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Proko Funeral Home with funeral services commencing at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
