John James Briseno, age 52, passed away on July 26, 2024, in Kenosha Wisconsin.
Born on January 2, 1972, in Chicago IL, John grew up attending local Chicago schools, including Luther North High School, and furthered his education at Lincoln Technical Institute in Norridge, IL.
John dedicated his career to mastering mechanical and construction skills, working as a master mechanic and a master fence builder in Kenosha. His work ethic and skill were well-respected in the community.
John was a man of faith, actively involved in the Nebo Lutheran Church in Chicago. His life was marked by a deep commitment to his beliefs and his church community.
He was a hardworking, adventurous spirit who loved the outdoors. Cars were his passion and his hobbies included fishing, swimming, boating, biking, and embarking on new adventures, which brought joy not only to him but also to those around him. He also loved spending time with son Johnny and his family.
A loving father and son, John is survived by his grandmother, Betty; father, Mike (Charmaine); his mother, Janet; son, Johnny (Shandra mother); brother, Mickey Briseno; and sister, Mindanette.
Visitation will be at Proko Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice Alliance, honoring John’s compassionate spirit.
