Josephine C. Alfano, 83, of Savannah, TN, formerly of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday October 1, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Josephine was born on June 5, 1940 in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Joseph & Frances (Dattioli) Alia. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Josephine married Frank Alfano on August 9, 1958 in Kenosha. She was a homemaker for many years. Josephine was a member of Mt Carmel Catholic Church in Kenosha, and St Mary’s Catholic Church in Savannah, TN. Her hobbies included cooking, gardening with her husband, cheering for Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors, but most of all spending time with her family & friends.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Alfano of TN; children, Paul (Sue) Alfano of GA, Tina (Wayne) Bartholomew of Kenosha, Diana (Stephen Logan) Alfano of TN; brothers, Frank Alia, John (Ida) Alia, James (Carmela) Alia all of Kenosha; sister, Antoinette Iorio of Kenosha; grandchildren, Wayne, Candice, Cassandra, Gina, Nick, Mikayla, Logan, & Dylan; and 7 great grandchildren. Josephine was preceded in death by her sister, Angeline Krantz, and grandson, Brian Bartholomew.
A visitation will be held on Monday October 9, 2023 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 10:00AM-12:00 Noon, with funeral services to follow at 12:00 Noon. Burial St. George Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
