Karen Vanderhoof, 56, of Kenosha passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday November 16, 2021.
Karen was born on January 8, 1965, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Harvey & Phyllis (Davis) Hopf. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Karen married Dennis Vanderhoof on May 26, 2018, in Kenosha. She was employed with Kenosha County for many years at the courthouse and at Brookside Care Center. Her hobbies included doing crossword puzzles, watching gameshows and movies, and cheering for the Packers & Brewers. She also enjoyed eating candy and sweets, but most of all she loved spending time with her family & friends.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Vanderhoof of Kenosha; sons, Chris (Kelsey) Reifenberger of Urbandale IA, Josh (Rachel) Reifenberger of Kenosha; brother, Bruce Hopf of Pleasant Prairie; sisters, Cathy Shpik, Brenda Reetz and Barb Hopf all of Kenosha; and grandchildren, Wyatt, Owen, Madison, and Camryn.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Monday November 22, 2021, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 4:00PM-6:00PM, with memorial services to follow at 6:00PM.
