Kathryn A. Loewen, 91 years old, life lifelong resident of Kenosha, WI passed away Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Hospice Alliance Hospice House.
She was born February 14, 1934, the daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor (Cavanagh) Loef. Kay attended St. James Grade School and graduated from Bradford High School. She married Robert J. “Bob” Loewen on September 29, 1956, at St. James Catholic Church. He preceded her in death three years ago, also on Easter Sunday.
Kay was employed at Eaton Dynamatic for 36 years. She worked for the marketing manager, and at the time of her retirement, was the administrative secretary to the division manager. Kay and Bob spent many happy years together fishing, going to the casino, and dinner with friends.
Although Kay was an only child, Bob’s large family was an important part of her life. She will be missed by her brother-in-law, Donald (Emily) Loewen; sisters-in-law, Joan Sweeney and Dolores Flake; Kriss Blank; and special nieces and nephews.
She also treasured her many pets; Skippy, Teddy, Choo Choo, Mr. Woo, Tashi, Little Lucky Lady, and Little Velvet Lady who brought her much happiness.
In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by the love of her life Bob.
A service will be held at All Saints Mausoleum, 3300 Springbrook Road, Pleasant Prairie on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to immediately follow.
