Kenneth Thompson, 48, of Savannah, GA, formerly of Kenosha passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2024, at Froedtert South-St. Catherine’s surrounded by his loving family.
Kenneth was born on November 11, 1976, in Marquette, MI, the son of Allen & Brenda (Moses) Thompson. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Tremper H.S. Kenneth was a member of the U.S. Army, proudly serving for over 20 years. Serving 8 tours to war zones in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Bosnia. He continued to serve with service in Afghanistan even after his military retirement. His hobbies included a passion for aviation, scuba diving, skydiving, biking, golfing, but most of all spending time with his family & friends, and pets, Oliver (Doodle) & Henry (Frenchie). Kenneth enjoyed living life to the fullest, and did so with an incredible sense of humor, that always made those around him laugh.
Survivors include his wife & best friend, Valerie Thompson of GA; his parents, Allen & Brenda Thompson of Kenosha; sister, Lynda (Rodney) Hatch of OK; niece, Natalie; nephews, Brady, Fidel, & Gabriel; in-laws, Jeff & Antonia Harris, who loved him like a son, of GA; and his cherished pets, Oliver & Henry. Kenneth was preceded in death by his pets, Charlie & Archer.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday December 11, 2024 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 9:00AM-10:00AM, with funeral services to follow at 10:00AM. Burial Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 1:00PM.
