Kenneth “Ken” J. Reetz Sr., 67, of Kenosha passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Hospital.
He was born on December 6, 1957 to the late Milton and Goldie (Krebs) Reetz in Wausau, WI. They moved to Kenosha and attend local schools.
On July 2, 1981 Ken married Sharie Bloom in Kenosha.
Ken was employed by Jantz and Jantz Towing for 46 years. He was well-known by many people from his 30 plus years of tow truck driving including law enforcement, Kenosha Fire & Rescue and dozens of the local auto repair shops. He retired in 2022.
Ken’s favorite place was the Wisconsin Dells and the local casinos. He was an avid Packers fan and loved watching American Pickers and Pawn Stars. Most of all, Ken loved spending time with his family. From shopping excursions to a simple at home visit. This is what mattered the most to him. He had a close bond with his grandson Larry, a cancer survivor that brought him great joy when he was with him.
Ken is survived by his wife of 43 years Sharie, his sons Kenneth Reetz Jr., Gregory Reetz, his grandchildren Larry, Lily and Adaline and his sister Sue Lutzen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and an infant sister Debra and his brother Randy Reetz.
A Celebration of Life for Ken will be held on Saturday, January 4th at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
