Kristi S. Wells, 61, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at her residence.
Kristi was born on December 29, 1962, in Stoughton, WI, to the late Carl L. and Janet L. (Lawrence) Rolfsmeyer. She was educated in the Madison school system and graduated from LaFollette High School. She later earned a double Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Education and Ministerial Studies from North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Kristi had a deep love for the Word of God and her Savior, Jesus Christ, and was known for her remarkable ability to recall quotes, passages, and events with ease.
For many years, Kristi was a devoted member of the Zion Faith Homes in Zion, IL, where she lived and worked in service to others. She also worked as a licensed massage therapist in the Kenosha area for several years. Most recently, Kristi worked as a contract employee at Randstad USA, with her latest position at TrustMark Benefits Insurance Company.
In her spare time, Kristi was an active member, church secretary and administrator of Agape Gathering Place in Kenosha. She also volunteered at special needs camps and had a passion for photography. Kristi was a loyal friend, known for her sense of humor and her love of game nights with close friends.
Kristi is survived by her brother, Ken (Vicki) Rolfsmeyer, her uncle, John (Roxanne) Lawrence, three cousins: Mike Lawrence, Nick (Faye) Lawrence, and Ben (Marcy) Lawrence, and many cherished friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Janet Rolfsmeyer, and her brother, Robert Rolfsmeyer.
A celebration of Kristi’s life will be held on January 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at The Encounter Church, 8900 34th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53142, with a luncheon afterwards.
