Larry Ropp, 67, of Kenosha passed away on May 28, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Larry was born on March 29, 1956, in Kenosha, the son of the late Milburn and Doris (Schweitzer) Ropp. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Larry married Barbara Main on April 11, 1992, in Kenosha. He was employed as a foundry worker for Racine Steel Casting for 10 years. His hobbies included fishing, cheering for the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Bucks, going to games with Cody, going to the car shows with Megan, going on boats with Crystal, fixing things, and putzing in the garage, but most of all he loved spending time with his dog, “Little Baby Zoey”, family, friends and his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara “Bobbie” Ropp of Kenosha; children, Crystal Ropp of TX, Megan (Matthew) Christians of MO, Cody Ropp of Sturtevant; brother, Rudy (Kathy) Ropp of Kenosha; sisters, Judy Schuppner of Kenosha, Renee Ropp of Texas ; also included are his 4 grandchildren, one on the way and a great-grandson. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jerry Ropp and his brother-in-law, Duane Schuppner.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
