Laurel Cowan-Jecevicus went to meet her Lord on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
She was born on August 12, 1969 in Mauston, WI to Patricia Cowan-Quilty and the late James Cowan. They later moved to Kenosha where her father worked at American Motors.
She got her GED and graduated from Gateway Technical College with top honors in her class in 1988. She liked to read, watch movies, and decorate her apartment. She loved her grandchildren. She worked at IEA in Kenosha for many years.
She was in a long relationship with Juan Macareno and they had a daughter, Catrina Macareno in 1989.
She is survived by her daughter Catrina Macareno, 3 grandchildren Caiden, Jayce and Izabella, her brother Thomas Cowan of Oak Creek, her sisters Christine Cowan of Bristol and Theresa Cowan of Kenosha, her mother Patricia Quilty and stepfather Thomas Quilty of Mauston and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by Juan Macareno and her father James Cowan.
