Lawrence Dale Bellomy, 72 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away Friday, November 22, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center, Summit, WI.
He was born October 18, 1952, in Crandon, WI, the son of the late Noah and Florence (Gross) Bellomy. Larry worked as an assembler for American Motor Corp, Kenosha, WI for many years before his retirement. In August of 2006, he married Sandra Leech.
Larry enjoyed spending time with his family; he loved cookouts and any other reason to be with family and friends. He will be remembered for his pranks and jokes as well as his kind and gentle heart. Larry also enjoyed working with computers and constructing model airplanes; he was an avid Packer fan and loved to dance. He loved a good party and if Larry was there, it was sure to be a good one.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra; daughter, Heather (Chris Yocum) Bellomy; stepsons, Rick (Richael) and Tim (Janna); sisters, Deanna (Richard) Martinson and Sarah Stanford; grandchildren, Brittany (Tony), Kayla (Adam), Anthony, Kayla, Kelly, Ben and Kyle; and great-grandchildren, Arya, Robin, Ava, Eli, and Luna. He will also be missed by his fur babies Milo, Lena, and Kitty.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a son, Ryan Bellomy; a sister, Jean Stanford, a brother Goebel Bellomy; nieces, Ashley Martinson and Susan Martinson; and a nephew Travis Bellomy.
Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Proko Funeral Home. Military honors will conclude the visitation at 6:00 p.m.
