Larry Klein, 74, of Kenosha passed away on Thursday April 3, 2025, at Alden Long Grove Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
Larry was born on October 13, 1950, in Evanston, IL, the son of the late Ralph & Tania (Price) Klein. He was educated in the schools of Highland Park. Larry was a member of the U.S. Army. Throughout his years he was a police officer in Highwood, IL, the VA in Great Lakes, IL, security officer at Woods where he also worked as a dispatcher and he worked in the steel business for many years at Wagner Company and Max Weiss. Larry was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. His hobbies included listening to music, playing guitar, model trains, but most of all spending time with family & friends, especially his dog, Zoe.
Survivors include his children, Lawrence Klein Jr. of Menomonee Falls, Andrew Klein of Green Bay; brothers, Mark Klein of MO, Don Klein of Manitowoc, Dave (Kathie) Klein of Kenosha, Greg Klein of Round Lake Beach, IL; sisters, Joyce Klein of Kenosha, Katherine Bullock of Kenosha, Frances (Mark) Terry of ME; a grandson, Andy Jr.; and many other family & friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Mathew, and sister, Janette.
A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday May 14, 2025, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 9:00AM-11:00AM, with funeral services to follow at 11:00AM.
