Linda Huxhold, 83, of Kenosha passed away on September 4, 2024, at Hospice House.
Linda was born on December 7, 1940, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Joseph and Alberta (Knowlton) Tinker. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Linda married John R. Huxhold on August 27, 1960, in Kenosha. She worked at AMC from 1959-1964, working in the insurance department, she later worked for E.S.O. at Great Lakes Naval base from 1966-1967 and then managed Oakwood Apartments for many years. Linda was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, and even as a little girl Linda would walk, by herself to the First Presbyterian Church on Roosevelt Road. Her hobbies included gardening, loved flowers, reading, and spending time at her lake house in Shawano but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, John R. Huxhold of Kenosha; children, John L. Huxhold of Shawano, LeAnn (David) Drissel of Kansasville; sister, Ruth (Gary) Kofler of Shawano; also included are her 3 grandchildren, Nicolas, Andrew, and Madelynn Drissel; her step brothers, and sisters, Timothy, Joseph and Don Tinker, Betty Jo Tinker, Mrs. Edward (Judy Tinker) Thomas; , sister-in-law, Mary Ann (Huxhold) Zeyen and nephews Timothy and Joshua Monson along with other nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and step-father, Ray Brown, and her granddaughter, Carolyn.
