Linnea Marie Stollenwerk, age 64, passed away peacefully in her sleep with the comfort of her family in the other room at her residence on February 14th, 2025.
She was born on January 1st, 1961, to Sandra (Schmidt) Christison and the late Robert D. Christison. Her family was her life, she loved spending every minute with them and especially all of the babies of the family. She loved buying gifts for the kids and was very thoughtful, always trying to make someone remember a laugh by remembering the most recent humorous moment. She was known by many to have a great sense of humor and loved laughing with her late husband Mark Stollenwerk, whom she was married to for many great years (she waited until Valentine’s day because she had a Valentine’s date with Mark).
She is survived by her mother Sandra Christison, siblings: Gail Kubas, Martin (Laurie) Christison, and Robert A. Christison, nieces & nephews: Mindy (Casey) Faber, Adam Kubas, Shay (Mike) Zerfas, Ashley (Chad) Walby, Cassandra Christison, and Mitchell Koenig, great nieces & nephews: Ardyn, Ashlyn, Audrianna, Haven, Emry, Avrie, Owen, Caleb, Zandra, and Kodi, as well as many living relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband: Mark Stollenwerk, father Robert D. Christison, sister Sheryl Walby, and a brother in law Gary.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice Alliance and Home Care Providers for all their exceptional care and compassion during Linnea’s final days. The family would also like to thank all of their many neighbors and friends who reached out to the family during this very difficult time.
As per the family’s wishes services will be held privately.
