Lynn Marie Parker, age 72, found peace on May 31, 2023. Lynn was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on February 22, 1951, to Bill and Johanna Parker. She attended local schools.
As a teenager, she was a member of the Queensmen Drum & Bugle Corps, an award-winning corps that competed nationally, participating as a member of the color guard.
She was employed as a bookkeeper for various local businesses and in later years as a chef at the Bartley House restaurant, retiring in 2019 due to ill health.
Lynn possessed a quick wit and had endless knowledge of useless trivia.
She greatly loved music, one of her favorite bands being a local blues group, the Rhythm Dogs. She made many music friends all over the world via social media. She traveled to Europe several times, visiting Germany, England, and the Netherlands. It was her fervent but, sadly, unfulfilled wish to move to Europe to live out her years.
Surviving are her children, Karla (Mario) Ausonio, Dana (Mark) Wilson, and Joel Podbereski; her grandchildren, Erika Wilson, Alex Wilson, Angel (Bradley) Siemer, and Kelly Oberry; great-grandchildren, Eve Wilson, Jennifer Wilson, Alarik Wilson, Jr., Addalyn Siemer, and Colton Siemer; her mother, Johanna Parker; her siblings, Jill (Jack) Zimmerman, Leigh Santiloni, Bill Parker, and Kelly (Karen Stein) Parker; nephews Christopher (Codi) Parker, Nicholas Parker, Bradley (Tabitha) Spore, Adam Schneider, nieces Elizabeth Stone and Stephanie (Mateo) Portalatin, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Bill Parker; sister, Gay Parker; and beloved grandchildren, Audrey Wilson, and Alarik Wilson.
No services will be held.
