Marian Petersen, 77, of Kenosha passed away on Thursday March 11, 2021 at her home after a long struggle with Parkinson’s Disease. At the time of her passing she was surrounded by her loving family.
Marian was born on July 3, 1943 in Albion, MI, the daughter of the late Earl & Louise (Leidley) Benjamen. She was educated in the schools of Michigan. She married Robert P. Petersen on September 12, 1960 in New Mexico. Marian was a homemaker for many years. Her hobbies included sewing, playing cards, gardening, but most of all spending time with her family & friends, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Sandra (Donald) Lloyd of Racine, Suzette (Jeffrey) Null of Kenosha, Michael Petersen of Racine, Bernadina Petersen of Kenosha, Roger Petersen of Kenosha; brother, Pete Benjamen of MI; sisters, Jean Albright of Kenosha, Helen (Ted) Underwood of MI; 9 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. Marian was preceded in death by her husband Robert, brother Chuck, grandson Bret and granddaughter Amanda.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Thursday March 18, 2021 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 4:00PM-6:00PM, with memorial services to follow at 6:00PM.
