Marion Reuter, 96, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Library Terrace.
She was born on January 21, 1929 to the late James and Emma (Wolf) Dorst in Mayville, WI. She was educated in the schools of Mayville and graduated from Mayville High School.
On December 15, 1972 she married Paul Reuter at St. Stephens Lutheran in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on January 27, 2006.
Marion worked at Red Owl Grocery in Milwaukee then at Southern Lakes Credit Union and PDQ for many years.
Marion was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she volunteered for many church groups and activities. She was a member of the Friendly Center and the Red Hat Society Ruby Rascals.
Marion loved playing Mahjong, cards and bingo.
Marion is survived by her children George (Sharon) Altmann, James (Patti) Altmann, Gail (Kevin) Seitz, Gerald Reuter and Steve (Judy) Reuter, her grandchildren Paul (Christy), Kelly (Kory), Gerald (Maria) Jr., Barry (Laura), Tracey (Mark), Jason (Heather), Michael, Joshua (Michelle), Lance, Emily (Gaelan), Andrea (Dennis), Jared, Christine (Jeremiah) and David, her 23 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law Dorothy Dorst.
She is preceded in death by her siblings Harold Dorst, James Dorst, Norman Dorst and Genevieve Gunther and a daughter-in-law Karen Reuter.
A Celebration of Life for Marion will be held on Friday, April 25th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (8760 – 37th Ave.). Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
