Marjorie Raethke, 84, of Kenosha passed away on November 12, 2023, at The Legacy at St. Joseph’s.
Marjorie was born on December 23, 1938, in Durand, WI, the daughter of the late Russell and Clara (Baker) Walters. She was educated in the schools of Durand. Marjorie married Howard Raethke on March 1, 1958, in Durand. She was employed as a Ward Clerk Secretary at hospitals for many years and worked at Woodstock Health Care for 25 years. Marjorie was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church. She was a big Packer and Brewers fan. In the 1970’s Marjorie and her husband purchased a cabin in Pepin where she and her family had wonderful memories and enjoyed the company of all relatives!
Survivors include her children, Rodney (Roxanne) Raethke of Lisbon, Ronda (Dave) Mattson of Kenosha, Russell (Margie) Raethke of Kenosha, Randall Raethke of Kenosha; sisters, Evonne (Wally) Greven, Susan (Rudy Haag) Stotler, Charlene (Michael) Goodman; grandchildren, Brooke (Justin) Dollak, Megan (Brian Wissbeck) Sykes, Christy (Treon) (Mitchell), Sarah (Jason) Morrow, Beth (Ben) Ruffalo, Tiffany (Jon) Clark, Alexendra (Jake) , Russell Jr. Raethke, Reece (Jenna) (Raethke), Cash Raethke; 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild; also included are several nieces and nephews. The family wants to thank Mirriah for all her help. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, oldest brother, Richard (Carol) Walters and her brother, James Walters.
A memorial gathering will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Friday November 24, 2023, from 3:00PM-5:00PM.
