In one brush of an angel’s wings our sister was swept up upon the very same day our mother left this world and was born into this world. On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, Marlene Engstrom passed away suddenly at her residence.
Born as a baby after World War II, with the look alike of Shirley Temple, Marlene was the daughter of the late Merle and Alvina (Denny) Morgan.

Marlene also served on the board for the Silver Lake Library and Zoning Board of Appeals. She was a very active member of the Calvary United Church of Christ, in addition to serving on the board.
