Marlin Metzler, 68, of Kenosha passed away on April 3, 2024, at Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center.
Marlin was born on March 14, 1956, in Waukegan, IL, the son of the late Albert and Leona (Henning) Metzler. He was educated in the schools of Wauconda, IL. Marlin married Michele DesFosses on August 11, 1975, in Waukegan, IL then later divorced. Marlin then remarried Michele on April 1, 1996, in Las Vegas, NV then later divorced. He was a truck driver for many years. Marlin was a member of the United States Army. His hobbies included attending the Renaissance Faire, collecting dragons and skulls, cheering for the Green Bay Packers but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family, especially with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Patrick (Lydia) Metzler of NE, Kenneth Metzler of IL, Marla Metzler of Kenosha, Anthony Metzler of IL; ex-wife, Michele Metzler of Kenosha; also included are his 7 grandchildren. Marlin was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David; and his grand-daughter, Alexandria.
