Mary Jane Flannery, 92, of Kenosha died Monday, December 11, 2023, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie and passed into eternal rest.
Born in Jennings, WI on March 31, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John and Germaine (Habersaat) Palubicki. She married the late Carl Flannery in Pelican Lake on June 7, 1947, and enjoyed every moment she had with him, especially their time traveling, before his passing in 2004.
She worked as an assembler at Warwick Electronics, in Zion, IL, for much of her working life.
She enjoyed bowling with the Victory League of Kenosha, and in her downtime knitting or crocheting. Mary loved playing Bingo and spending time at the casino. She also enjoyed Sunday Dinners with her family, which were often followed by a game of cards, Yahtzee or putting together a puzzle.
Survivors include her two daughters, Connie (Michael) Burkee of Kenosha and Brenda (Philip) Wallig of Kenosha; four grandchildren, Kimm Holthaus, Rob Holthaus, Stacey (Jason) Truax, and Brett Burkee; and four great-grandchild, Cade Almaraz, Dillon Holthaus, Jillian Truax, and Fiana Holthaus; one sibling Rosalie Dunn; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were eight siblings, Clara Flannery, Jack Palubicki, Robert Palubicki, George Palubicki, Augie Palubicki, Bernard Palubicki, Raymond Palubicki, and Roy Palubicki.
Visitation for Mary will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at Proko Funeral Home until time of service at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.
