MaryAnn E. Flegner, 75, of Bristol, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Grande Prairie Health & Rehab.
She was born on February 19, 1948 to the late Frank and Mary (Schmidt) Witscheber in Kenosha.
MaryAnn worked in home child care for several years then worked in retail as a manager for various departments stores for many years.
MaryAnn enjoyed grocery shopping, taking her daughter and grandson shopping, cooking, baking, watching soap operas especially One Life to Live and General Hospital, watching birds, ice fishing and loved spending time with her grandson and grand pup. MaryAnn was very proud of her grandson opening up his own business after graduating high school. She was a loving, caring and nurturing woman, always offering food to anyone who would stop by and asking several times.
MaryAnn is survived by her children Duane (Jenny) Flegner, Robert (Linda Kislow) and Sondra Flegner, her grandson Camren Flegner-Kempf, her husband Edward Gabriel and her siblings Frank (Carol) Witscheber, Leonard (Diane) Witscheber, Paul Witscheber and David Witscheber. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by a sister Sandra Keller, a sister-in-law Gail Witscheber and an aunt Anita Witscheber-Staral.
A Celebration of Life for MaryAnn will be held at a later date.
