Megan Ann (Lees) Heise 51, of Kenosha, WI, passed away at her home after a valiant fight with cancer.
She was born on January 30th, 1974, to the late Robert M Lees and Susan (Cappelen) Lees in Kenosha, WI. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha.
Megan worked at the family’s neighborhood tavern The Main Event. She had a charismatic personality and a significant reason for the business’s success through the years.
Megan enjoyed doing many things with her family and friends. She enjoyed music and dancing. She enjoyed watching sporting events, especially the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Black Hawks. She loved her dog Kobe to the moon and back.
Megan was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Susan, her son Cody Lees, her sister Debra Massie, and her brother Mark Lees.
She is survived by her husband Steve Heise, son Caden Heise, brothers Patrick Lees and Matthew Lees, her brother and sister-in-law Robert D. Lees and Barbara Jorgensen-Lees. Her niece Crystal (Lees) Mertins, nephew Nicholas Lees and Sarah Petersen, and nephew Conner Lees. Great nieces Grace Mertins, Cheyenne Lees and Veronica Mertins, great nephews Bronson Lees and Phoenix Lees, as well as many other family and friends.
In lieu of funeral services, Megan wants her family and friends to meet at The Main Event for celebration of her life. This event will be announced at a later date.
