Michael James Wilson, 72 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at his home.
He was born May 22, 1950, in Zion, IL the son of the late George and Vera (Cheney) Wilson. Mike grew up in Beach Park, IL and settled in Kenosha in 1989. On April 4, 1998, he married Sandra (Gascoigne) Stewart in Las Vegas, NV.
Mike worked as a maintenance journeyman, for various companies throughout his career. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and taking care of his home. Mike also liked driving his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Sandy; five children, Gale (Tom) Nevala of Racine, WI, Kim (Kip) Hathaway of Florida, Pam (Scott) Amundson of Trevor, WI , Chris (Kelli) Alexander of Kansas City, KS, and Jon Wilson of Washington; grandchildren, Anthony (Katherine) Sumpter, Andrew (Melanie) Alexander, Reannon Sumpter, Noah Amundson, Rylee Amundson, Brynn Amundson, Dylan Alexander, Hailey Alexander, Megan Alexander, Jenny Hunneford, Ivory Rose Wilson, and Alexa Wilson; five great-grandchildren, River Alexander, Fern Alexander, Kai Alexander, Charles Sumpter, and Audrey Sumpter; and sisters-in-law, Sherry (Bob) Ludeman and SueAnn Gascoigne.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel Nevala.
