Michael Kevin Thompkins Sr., 65, (Pops) formerly of Kenosha, late of Clarksville, TN.
He was born on February 7, 1957 to the late William and Pauline (Posey) Thompkins in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. After graduation he attended Gateway Technical School to be a counselor for young adults.
Michael worked with disabled children and elderly adults.
Michael was very into fashion, collection suits and dress shoes.
Michael was an excellent singer and he loved to sing.
Michael is survived by his children Rashon (Keyubba) Bowman, Mikesha (Keneshia Henry) Thompkins, Michael (Deserae) Thompkins Jr., Marcus (Julie) Thompkins, Charnetta Hickman, Michael Hickman, Lafindric Ford and Floyd Cooper, his siblings Billy Thompkins, Arthur Thompkins, David (Cathy) Thompkins, Donald Thompkins, Anthony Thompkins, Tim (Lourdes) Thompkins and Eric Thompkins, his 23 grandchildren, his two great grandsons and a goddaughter Gabriela Thompkins
Funeral Services for Michael will be held on Saturday, August 20th at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Greater Mt. Hebron Church 7445 – 20th Ave. Kenosha, WI 53143
Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
