Michael Lodygowski, 65, of Kenosha passed away on Tuesday January 11, 2022, at his home unexpectedly after a brief illness.
Michael was born on January 14, 1957, in Chicago, the son of the late Ronald & Emily (Smith) Lodygowski. He was educated in the schools of Chicago. Michael married Gay Nordquist on June 30, 1983, in Chicago, they later divorced. He was employed as an autobody painter at Parkville Auto Body for many years. He was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Chicago. His hobbies included golfing, playing poker, cheering for the Blackhawks, Bears, White Sox, but most of all spending time with his family & friends, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Jennifer Lodygowski of Kenosha, Virginia Lodygowski of Chicago, Kishori Lodygowski of Kenosha, Michael (Krystal) Lodygowski of Kenosha, Marshall Lodygowski of Racine, Adam Nordquist of Kenosha, Tommy Nordquist of Kenosha; brothers, Theodore Lodygowski of Chicago, Eddie (Teresa) Lodygowski of CA; sister, Kathy Ward of IL; ex-wife, Gay Nordquist; 9 grandchildren; and many other family & friends. Michael was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronnie & Marshall, and sister, Mary.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday February 19, 2022, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 10:00AM-12:00 Noon, with memorial services to follow at 12:00 Noon.
