Miloš Djukanovic, 78, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, October 4, 2024 at his residence.
He was born on April 25, 1946 to the late Stanko and Georgia (Simeunovic) Djukanovic in Yugoslavia. He was educated in the schools in Yugoslavia.
As a young man he worked for Michelin company in France for two years. Miloš also worked in many departments at AMC/Chrysler for thirty years and was a member of UAW Local #72. The last ten years of his employment he worked in the parts department in Portland Oregon where he retired from.
Miloš was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church for many years.
He enjoyed masonry, carpentry, reading, gardening and working outdoors. Milos was a very diligent man and took pride in everything he did. He was a loving, compassionate, caring and giving man. He was dedicated to his family and friends. Milos was one everybody could count on.
Miloš is survived by his brother Krsta (Sherri) Djukanovic, niece Anica Djukanovic, sister Mara in Serbia, and many other nieces and nephews around the world.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters.
Funeral Services for Miloš will be held on Thursday, October 10th at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church (826 State Street Racine). Interment will be held at New Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Cemetery in Third Lake. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 9th at the Bruch Funeral Home 3503 Roosevelt Road
Kenosha from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a prayer service to follow and again on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church.
