Natalie Shirley “Tilly” or “Nat” Boak, 86 years old, longtime resident of Johnsburg, IL passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha, WI.
Natalie was born February 23, 1935, to the late John and Pauline (nee Eppe) Luft. On January 8, 1955 she married Charles D. Boak, Jr., at St. Lawrence Episcopal Church in Libertyville, IL.
Natalie worked at Johnsburg High School for many years. She was an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in McHenry, IL. She volunteered for meals on wheels and at McHenry Hospital.
She is survived by her three children, Cathy Moehling of Coeur d’Alene, ID, Colleen (Bill) Zertler of Menomonie, WI, and Bob ( Kelly) Boak of Kenosha, WI; cherished grandchildren, Kody, Kaylee, Emily, Robert, Michael, Jordan, Brandon, and Faustina; and beloved great-grandchildren, Abigail and Koen.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Boak, Jr., and her son, Charles Boak III.
A Celebration of Life will be announced by the family at a later date. Natalie’s ashes will be laid to rest by her son Charlie at Teegarden Cemetery in Menomonie, WI.
