Patricia Ostergaard, 77, of Kenosha passed away on June 23, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Patricia was born on June 23, 1946, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Peter Kargas and Mary Charwhas. She was educated in the schools of DesPlaines, Elkhorn. Patricia married Charles “Chuck” Ostergaard on April 10, 1976, in Antioch, IL. She was partner in Guys and Dolls in Antioch for many years. Patricia was a member of Wildwood Presbyterian Church in Wildwood, IL. She was known to have made a huge impact on everyone she surrounded, never passed judgement on anyone, and had the biggest heart heavenly possible. Her hobbies included attending church and volunteering for Tiny Treasures for 25 years, Baking, but most of all she loved spending time with friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Charles “Chuck” Ostergaard of Kenosha; children, Brenda Gutsmiedel of Belvidere, IL, Cheryl Marko of North Aurora, IL, Trace (Steve) Ficsher of Marengo, IL, Jason (Naomi) Hyerdall of MN, Charles Ostergaard II of Waupon, WI; also included are her 7 grandchildren, Courtney, Scott, Brooke, Jennifer, Samantha, Brittney, Sammi; also, 11 great grandchildren. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Arty and her nephew, Dan Ropa.
A celebration of life will be held at Wildwood Presbyterian Church (18630-West Old Gages Lake Road, Grayslake, IL 60030) on Sunday July 16, 2023, starting at 12:00PM.
