Peter Jecevicus Sr., of Pleasant Prairie passed away on June 1, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Peter was born on August 22, 1942, in IL, the son of the late John & Anne (Steponavich) Jecevicus. He was educated in the schools of Northern Illinois. Peter married Maureen Ruebsman on December 22, 1962. He worked for Bane Nelson as a sheet metal worker for over 40 years. His hobbies included hunting, cheering for the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Peter Jecevicus Jr. of Pleasant Prairie, Aaron (Jill) Jecevicus of Kenosha, Paul Jecevicus of Kenosha; brothers, William (Janice) Jecevicus of Burlington, Michael (Debbie) Jecevicus of Bloomer, Charles (Mary) Jecevicus of Pleasant Prairie; sisters, Patricia Carlson of Cornell, Mary Anne Thompson of Bloomer, Sue Jecevicus of Cornell; also included are his grandchildren, Brittany Westphal, Aaron Jecevicus Jr., Melissa Jecevicus, Alan Jecevicus, Shannon Jecevicus; great-grandchildren, Ma’kye Watkins, Malcolm Westphal, Landon Oldham, Aurora Oldham, Ryland Oldham and numerous nieces and nephews. Peter was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers John Jr., & Anthony; sisters, Julie Guthrie & Judith Jecevicus plus several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday June 16, 2023 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 5:00PM-7:00PM, with memorial services to follow immediately at 7:00PM. Burial at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
