Ray “Raymond” Mazzarelli, 73, of Mt. Pleasant, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 21, 2025, at his home.
Born on May 30, 1951, in Kenosha, WI; he was the son of the late Raymond and Lorraine (Grbavac) Mazzarelli. He attended local schools and graduated from Bradford High School and earned his associates degree from Gateway Technical College.
In 1981, he married Patricia “Patsy” Zaleski in Racine, WI.
He was employed by 7-Up/Pepsi Co. for a number of years in their maintenance department. He also previously worked for Grainger.
Ray enjoyed gardening, and spending time with his dog, Meggie. He loved his family more than anything in the world. He looked forward to his daily talks with his daughter and his siblings and loved his family Fantasy Football League.
He is survived by his daughter, Selina (MaryJo McBurney) Sicilia of Milwaukee, WI; two grandchildren, Kyle Martin and Megan Zitzke; six siblings, Steve (Karen Erickson) Mazzarelli, Jean (Jerry Herrick) Mazzarelli, Linda (Mike) Zapp-Flesch, Catherine (Eric) Dodd, Margaret (Eric) Rohs, and James (Ella) Mazzarelli; several nieces and nephews; and other special family and friends.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Barbara, in infancy; his wife, Patsy Mazzarelli; and his daughter, Trista Sicilia.
Private services were held per Ray’s wishes.
