Robert A. Pitts Jr., 78, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully Friday, December 8, 2023 at his residence.
He was born on September 5, 1945 to the late Robert A. and Ola Mae (Bryant) Pitts in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. He graduated from Yankton College in South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
Robert worked at Snap-On Tools briefly and then worked at Abbott’s Lab until retirement.
Robert enjoyed playing basketball and was well known for his skills.
Robert is survived by his son Robert A. (Barbara) Vaughns, his grandsons Terrance Vaughns and Ray Vaughns-Clark, his sister Ola (David) McPhee of Kenosha, Helen Vines of Nashville, TN, nephews Richard (Deanna) Bardwell and Jeff Bardwell and a niece Colleen Bryant.
A Celebration of Life for Robert will ne held at a later date.
