Robert “Bob” L. Hanson, 78, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Sunday, April 20, 2025 at his residence.
He was born on December 10, 1946 to the late Clifford O. and Lelah (Emrich) Hanson in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and was the first graduating class in 1965 at Tremper High School.
On September 29, 1979 he married Susan Woodworth in Lake County, IL.
Bob worked in the warehouse and shipping at Jockey Int. then worked in the paint booth at Modine in McHenry, IL retiring from there. He also delivered papers for the Kenosha News for 20 years.
Bob was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge #47 holding the title of Past Master in 1978.
Bob loved woodworking, fishing, hunting, camping and being outdoors. He was an avid Packers, Brewers and Bucks fan. Most of all, Bob loved being a grandpa to his little buddy Thurston.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Susan, his daughter Jennifer (Kenneth) Clope, his son Andrew Hanson, his grandson Thurston Clope and his sisters-in-law Patricia Hanson and Julie Woodworth.
He is preceded in death by a son Timothy Hanson, a sister Joyce Turner and a brother Dale Hanson.
Funeral Services for Bob will be held on Friday, April 25th at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
