It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Dale Osborne, a beloved husband, father, Papa, and friend. Robert, born on March 25, 1935, in Wheeling, West Virginia, peacefully departed from this world on November 5, 2024, after bravely battling cancer for three years. He passed away at his residence in Kenosha, Wisconsin, surrounded by his loving family.
Described as a dedicated family man, Robert was always there to assist his family and friends with anything they needed. His unwavering love and support were evident in all aspects of his life. Robert was a talented robot technician in the farm equipment manufacturing industry, working for Case International. He found joy in playing and coaching basketball and fast-pitch baseball, as well as being a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers. He also enjoyed time in his garden, nurturing his tomato plants, and cooking his family-favorite dish, ham.
Robert found solace in his spiritual beliefs as a Pentecostal, truly living his life for Jesus. He cherished his family and spent time with them, often having jam sessions on the farm. A man of many stories, experiences, and immense love, Robert was known for his compassionate nature and selflessness.
His legacy of family and hard work will forever be remembered and treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing him. Significant events that shaped Robert’s life include the birth of his children, the loss of his mother, and his union with his beloved wife, Jo Ann.
Robert is survived by wife, Jo Ann (Lewis) Osborne; children, Regina Lynn Osborne-Schueneman, Pamela Osborne-Cantrell, Sandy Osborne-Haarsma, Dina (Donny) Green, Larry Ray (Lisa) Smith, Donald Wayne (Brian) Smith, Teresa (Danny) Jackson, Adam (Jacqueline) Smith; grandchildren, Heather Schueneman, Jonathon Alan (Katie) Warren, Matthew Robert (Maggie) Warren, Hannah Willems, DJ Sarandos, Austin Murdock, Mia Isabella Haarsma, Paisley Kennedy Nayann Cheek, Harli Makelle Gambrel, Amy Jo Locke, Ashley Nicole (Matthew) Wilson, Bryan Smith, Kayla (David) Wilson, Peter (April) Green, Nathan (Mehgen) Green and David (Jessica) Green; 20 great grandchildren; siblings, John (Joanne) Osborne, Martha Warne, Betty (R.L.) Martin, Rich (Joan) Osborne, Tobie (Bob) Cate, Jimmy (Barb) Osborne, Wilma (Walter) Joost, and Joe (Connie) Osborne; and 43 nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by parents, Preston and Hazel (Loew) Osborne; brothers, Chuck, Skeeter, and Nelson Osborne; sons-in-law, Gregory Cantrell and Danny Sarandos; and grandson, Adam Cantrell.
For those attending his service, Robert would want to share his life story and urge everyone to pray and live their lives for Jesus. He held firm in his beliefs and found peace in the knowledge that he would be reunited with Jesus Christ.
Robert’s memory will forever be cherished, his legacy of love and dedication enduring through the lives of those he touched. May he rest in peace.

Funeral services honoring Robert’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Piasecki Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Union Grove Cemetery.
A visitation for Robert will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
An additional visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
