Robert Cole, 70, of Kenosha passed away on January 1, 2025, at The Bay at Sheridan surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was born on December 21, 1954, in Kenosha, the son of the late Robert T. and Hope (Hoffmann) Cole. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Robert worked as a surveyor for Lake County, IL for many years. His hobbies included golfing, fishing, hunting, cooking out, watching old western shows, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, enjoyed listening to music and attending music festivals, loved to travel, but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors include his sisters, Ruth (Addison Frierson) Bebo of Kenosha and Cathy (Ken) Martinson of Burlington; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would also like to thank Hospice and Bay of Sheridan, for the love, care and support for Robert while staying at the nursing home. To all his friends, Gary, you were there watching the Packers alongside him, Carl, Brian, Mike, Paul, Jackie and Tony you are family, you were there for support for Robbie. Addison, Robbie loved hanging in the mancave, watching westerns, smoking cigars, and having shots of tequila with you. The family would also like to thank his cousins, Doug, John and Diane for everything you have done throughout the years. The family will be going to jazz festivals and vacationing in Florida!
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
