Roberta “Bobbie” La Chance, 73, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 3, 2025, at home.
Born in Corning Arkansas, on July 24, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Nora (Stacy) Wright.
Bobbie married Daniel La Chance who preceded her in death on May 17, 2016. She worked hard in environmentalism service for 26 years. She loved and cared for the people she worked with. Bobbie enjoyed traveling, be it a quick Lakeshore drive, or cross-country excursion, she enjoyed visiting new places. She was a people person who loved to chat.
Survivors include her children, Melissa (Justin) Rains, Amanda La Chance, and Steven (Jennifer) La Chance; step-children; Renee (Tim) Wycoff, Matthew La Chance; siblings, Frank Wright, Roger Wright, and Wilma Wright; grandchildren, Selena La Chance, Veronica La Chance, Kaye Rains, Angel La Chance and Alexandra Mazari; and great-grandson, Demitri.
Visitation will be at Proko Funeral Home on April 9, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI, April 10, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
