Rodney “Rod” A. Brenner Jr., age 60, of Twin Lakes, WI, died on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Son of Rodney A. Brenner Sr. and the late Delores M. (Lisciandrello) Brenner, Rod was born on May 25, 1963, in Chicago, IL.
Rod, lovingly referred to by many as “RaRa,” grew up in Chicago with five siblings. From the age of 10, he was enthralled with physical fitness and body building, which became a lifelong hobby for him along with martial arts. Along with his former wife, Debbie Brenner, Rod had two daughters who were the light of his life. He was a wonderful, loving father, who taught his kids how to play every sport. Rod also loved being a grandfather, uncle, and great-uncle to many beloved children. In his free time, he enjoyed playing pool and cooking. He was known for his incredible potato salad, made without mustard. Rod had a great sense of humor and some of the things his family will miss most about him are his stories and jokes. Rod was also a man of undoubting faith. He attended church every Saturday night and taught his daughters the love of not only family but of God.
Rodney is survived by his daughters, Doris and Celeste Brenner; grandson, Kayden Brenner; father, Rodney (Nancy Hollander) Brenner Sr., siblings, Cynthia Howsam, Dean Brenner, Babette Brenner, and Patrick Brenner; nieces and nephews, Anthony, Valentina, Claudia, Angelo “AJ”, Jason, Katrina, Sabrina, Tiffanie, Daniel, great nieces/nephews; Josh, Zach, Rosalie, Madison, Logan, Evie, Quinn, Ryan, Harper, Jade, Nathan, Grayson and Savannah. Rodney was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Brenner; and sister, Pamela Badame.
