Sandra Ann Kern, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Froedtert South-Pleasant Prairie Campus.
Born on July 31, 1955, Sandra was the daughter of late Eugene and Virginia (Riske) Rawhoof.
On July 16, 1983, she was united in marriage to Gary Kern.
Sandra moved from Illinois to Kenosha 31 years ago. She was employed as a lunchroom attendant (also known as the superhero) for Lincoln Middle School for 25 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her four grandchildren, traveling with family, taking care of her amazing husband, going out on lunch dates with her best friend Brenda Kislia; but most of all she loved spending time with her son Travis and daughter-in-law Dasha. She will be remembered as a loving mother to all.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Gary Kern; her children, Travis (Dasha) Kern and Dale Kern; her grandchildren, Saffire Kern, Brooklyn Hubbard, Jaxin and Robert Kern; her siblings, Ruthie (Danny) Teige, Connie (Garry) McCombs, Sherry Phistry and Robert P. Kern and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and close family friends that she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Vernis Kern (Rainbow Grandma); her brother, Don Rawhoof; her brother-in-law, Paul Kern; her granddaughter, Jadlyn Kern and her grand pup, Oz Kern.
Funeral services honoring the life of Sandra will be held privately.
