Vickie L. Nichi, age 70 a resident of Kenosha, died Monday April 18th, 2022, at her residence with her husband and friends at her side.
Vickie was born on March 31st, 1952, in La Crosse WI. She was the daughter of the late Lee and Lanice (Thorson) VanSlyke.
She was educated in the schools of La Crosse and the schools of Kenosha. She attended cosmetology school in Madison and attended classes at Carthage College.
On June 16th, 1984, she married Ron Nichi at Pigeon Lutheran Church in Pigeon Falls WI.
She was employed at the Flair Styling Studio in Kenosha and also at KHDS (Kenosha Humans Development Service) as a program manager. She also worked at Bell Therapy.
She loved to play tennis and was an avid skier. She enjoyed working on the family tree and was a talented rosemaling painter. She loved spending time with her daughter and was a member of the Sons of Norway.
She is survived by her husband Ron of Kenosha and her daughter Krisitin of New Mexico.
A visitation period with the family will take place on Sunday April 24th, 2022, from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kemper Center Founders Hall. (6501-3rd Avenue). Burial will take place at a future date in Pigeon Falls WI.
