Vicky A. Hartung, 66, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Friday, August 2, 2024 at her residence.
She was born on March 31, 1958 to the late Kenneth A. and Mary A. (Weese) Follensbee in Chippewa Falls, WI. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Tremper High School in 1977.
In 1983 she married Lance G. Hartung at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Vicky’s first job was at Frank’s Bakery and then was a courier for Kenosha Memorial Hospital and finished her career in central supply at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Hospital, retiring in 2023.
Vicky enjoyed scrap booking, gardening, cooking Christmas dinner and baking Christmas cookies and crocheting prayer blankets for the hospital.
Vicky is survived by her husband Lance G., her son Lance A. (Xiaoming “Mina” Ma) Hartung and her siblings Kenneth E. (Dawn) Follensbee, Steven (Kathy) Follensbee, Michael Follensbee and Deborah (James) Gregory.
She is preceded in death by a brother Earl.
A Celebration of Life for Vicky will be held on Monday, August 12th at 6:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorials would be appreciated to the family.
