Vicky Marchant, 59, of Kenosha passed away on March 27, 2025, at The Sheridan Health and Rehabilitation Center, as the result of two ruptured brain aneurysms.
Vicky was born on January 21, 1966, in Burlington, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Marvon and Dorothy (Sullivan) Marchant. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and Iron County. Vicky was a cosmetologist for many years. Vicky loved animals, especially her cats George, Seymore, and Myrtle, and her two Keeshond’s, Aerosmith and Shania. She was softhearted and fed stray cats if they were near her apartment. Her hobbies included gardening, tending to her mom’s plants, taking plant clippings and sharing them with family and friends, and cooking. She enjoyed cheering for the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Milwaukee Brewers. Most of all, she loved spending time with her friends and family, whether in person or by phone, Messenger, and Facebook for as long as she was able to. She enjoyed Halloween and dressing up in funny costumes, and she also loved Christmas time, especially the ceramic, light-up tree that was a gift from her dear friend, Judy. Vicky was quite funny, witty, and sarcastic at times, and she wasn’t afraid to say what she thought. Vicky was married to Wayne Deike from October 25, 1997, to October 2005.
Survivors include her brothers, Rick (Phyllis) Marchant of Saxon, Jeff (Lois) Marchant of Montreal, Ken (Sue) Marchant of Pleasant Prairie; sister, Cheryl (Terry) Bucheger of Pewaukee, nephew Ashton (Kathryn) and niece Alice Bucheger; sister-in-law Beverly (Nett) Marchant; her niece Roberta (Marchant) Alexander, (Lane and daughter Maddie); nephews Ryan (daughters Neeve & Hermione); Nephew Brad; Uncle Eddie Sullivan; Aunt Barb Marchant, and by many other friends and family. Vicky was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Harold (Mick), as well as her grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as dear friends, Rhonda, Pete, Jill, Bonnie, Greg, and Debbie.
The family would like to thank the staff at Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa, and Pleasant Prairie, the neurology teams, as well as the staff at Sheridan Health and Rehabilitation Center, Vitas Hospice, Kenosha Hospice and all friends and family who have kept in touch with her since the first brain aneurysm ruptured in August of 2023. We would also like to thank the ambulance teams who assisted Vicky and transported her to both Froedtert Hospitals, when necessary, Father Jerry who gave her the blessing of the sick, and the Braun family at Kenosha Funeral Services for their compassionate assistance at this difficult time.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
