Virginia married Orlando Chianelli on June 21st, 1952, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. They met through a mutual friend in 1948. Together they had 2 daughters, Debbie and Nancy.
Virginia was a Girl Scout Troop Leader for 10 years and enjoyed ceramics. She loved to cook for her family, take long walks, and liked shopping and going out to eat. Virginia played 500 rummy, watching TV especially the Hallmark Channel. She loved going for rides to Pets Park and getting ice cream or coffee on the weekends. Mostly she loved spending time with her family.
Mom was our nurse, counselor, confidant, best friend, teacher & ultimate guide on how to live well, keep our faith and always be a lady. Baking, cooking, and being a constant “giver” to her many friends & family were her passions through life. The love and devotion she had for her husband, Orlo, was her proudest attribute. She was smart, talented and happy, joyful spirit we all wish to emulate.
Virginia is survived by her daughters, Debra (William) Templin of Kenosha, and Nancy Chianelli of Kenosha, and a very special grandson whom she loved dearly William “Billy” (Shellie) Diel also of Kenosha.
She is preceded in death by her husband Orlando Chianelli, her parents Henry and Dorothy Langer, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Peter and Josephine Chianelli, and sisters in law Ida Ruffalo and Lydia Beebe.
