Wayne Harold Tabbert, 92 years old, lifelong resident of Kenosha, WI passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Hospice Alliance Hospice House, Pleasant Prairie, WI.
He was born January 29, 1932, in Kenosha, WI the son of the late Harold and Bernice (Hallett) Tabbert. After graduating high school, Wayne proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954. On February 19, 1955, Wayne married Sandra Swartz in St. George Catholic Church, Kenosha, WI and she preceded him in death in 2001.
Survivors include his children, Lynn (Bruce) Gilbert of Oklahoma, Susan (Greg) Aluce of Okauchee Lake, WI, and Jeffry (Kathy) Tabbert of Kenosha, WI; grandchildren, Kyle, Cory, Alex, Ryan, Brittany, Christopher, Rebecca, Jacob, and Amy; great-grandchildren, Kaiya, Brooklyn, Raelynn, Nolan, Ellery, Stella, Maylee, Alesia, Luca, William, Austin, and Aiden; a brother, Ronald (Donna) Tabbert); and his dear friend, Pat Moller.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 2020 91st Avenue, Kenosha, WI. Mass of Christina Burial will commence at 11:00 a.m. and interment with military honors will follow in St. George Cemetery, Kenosha, WI. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Hospice Alliance, 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd., Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158, in his memory.
